Evolution Health is seeking a Graphical User Interface Designer to design and prototype eHealth Programs
 
Job Description
  • Meeting with team and clients to discuss designs
  • Manage the complete design process: creative brief, wireframes, mock-ups, prototype and implementation
  • Developing design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues
  • Ability to both work within existing creative styles, and to develop a range of new styles and designs
  • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas
  • Using innovation to redefine a design and meet the constraints of cost, time and client needs
  • Multi-tasking: graphic designers often work on more than one design at a time
  • Producing accurate and high quality work
  • Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programs
  • Working collaboratively with a team to design client and beta websites
  • Managing work load and deadlines independently
Knowledge and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design or web design
  • Strong talent for all elements of design, layout and typography
  • Strong understanding of latest web technologies and their capabilities
  • Fundamental understanding of GUI design with ability to create interfaces that look native to the end user regardless of the platform
  • Expertise in usability principles
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite 5 and Microsoft Office
  • Enough knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQUERY and Javascript to build functional prototypes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to take on a lead role when needed
  • Detail oriented and well-organized
  • Good communication  and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and able to work with constructive criticism
